William Ledeuil, author and guide

While still very young, William Ledeuil learned a great deal in the vast school of nature, as he explored the countryside of his childhood. Later, he perfected his training through books. “I did not have the opportunity of learning alongside the chefs that I admired, like Guérard, Chapel, Maximin. So I read and reread their books obsessively.” Once he became a chef, he in turn wanted to transmit his passion to others: “This is what I would like to share with the reader. Cooking as a true means of expression for the person doing it—but also for the one enjoying it.”
